I hung sheets of photographic paper next to each other and exposed them by flashing a light bulb on and off as quickly as i could.
I then developed the sheets and put them back next to each other.
So what we see here is the actual light intensity at that distance from the light bulb. The light bulb is represented by a photograph of the light bulb.
